Job Description:
As an Analyst, you will be heavily involved in :
that are macroeconomic, socioeconomic and otherwise indicative in nature. You will be requiredto support a team focused on data sourcing and collection by developing effective quality-check and progress-monitoring systems.
Candidate Qualifications:
• Post-graduate degree in Economics/Econometrics/Quantitative Economics or other related fields from a top-tier educational institution.
In exceptional cases, persons holding an undergraduate degree in Economics/Econometrics/Quantitative Economics from top-
tier educational institutions may be considered if they have at least two years of relevant
work experience
• All candidates must have a minimum of one year of work experience in the field of data
sourcing, modeling, extrapolation and analysis
• Sound working knowledge of advanced statistical concepts (such as multivariate
regression, factor analysis, hypothesis testing, correlation, analysis of variance, etc.) is a
must
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word is a must, with basic knowledge of
statistical packages (SPSS, SAS, etc.) an added advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet challenges head-on and work within strict deadlines
• Ability to function both independently and within a team
